The mountain bike trails through Fort Ebey State Park are a terrific mix. A majority of them go through “The Kettles”, which are rolling topographical bowls formed by glaciers thousands of years ago. Forested single track crosses back and forth throughout the forest. Bringing a trail map is definitely recommended! There are even free access points along highway 20 that lead throughout the trails and go all the way west to the beautiful high bluffs overlooking Puget Sound by the historic underground bunkers that you can wander through (bring a light). It is a fun place for biking, hiking, and exploring.
