At the Mill Canyon Fossil and Historical Area Dinosaur Trail, you can walk right up to the footprints of dinosaurs on the ground, uncovered from millennia of deposits to see their true shape, size, and gait. A wide variety of dinosaur species happened to walk across the mud of this area millions of years ago. Then those sunken footprints became encased in the formation of rock. Now, they are revealed again to the open air. A walking path and boardwalk encircles many of them, complete with interpretive signs to describe what you are seeing.
If you are near Moab, Arches National Park, or Canyonlands National Park in Utah, come walk with the dinosaurs in this slightly out of the way place!
