Ever since 1915, the Maxwelton 4th of July has been an annual tradition on south Whidbey Island. It’s a low key but fun affair with lots of family entrants, tail wagging dogs, light costumes, old cars, and music. It usually attracts over 2,000 people, which is a big gathering for Whidbey!
