Seattle’s Woodland Park Zoo offers a wide range of faux natural setting enclosures for many animals from all over, plus a pleasant woodsy setting that is great for walking, picnics, and enjoying. The zoo is very informative, including interactive up-close greetings with animals, a hands-on interpretative center, and various programs. For general kid stuff, there is also a great playground and merry-go-round as well as carnival-like food offerings. Lots to do and enjoy!
