The Mukilteo-Clinton Ferry is officially an extension of route 525 as part of the Washington State Department of Transportation’s Ferry System. Basically it’s like a “bridge” for the south end of Whidbey, where 525 ends at the water in Clinton and continues again on the mainland at Mukilteo. It’s a pretty crossing of Possession Sound, and only takes 15 minutes of travel time on the water.
