Seattle’s Mountaineers club has a terrific, rustic lodge available for both members and non-members up by the Mt Baker ski area. The Mt Baker Lodge includes a dining hall, big kitchen, hang-out lounge, and dorm/bunk bed style sleeping accommodations. On the weekends, breakfast and dinner are even included, and they will make you full. Immediately around the lodge are opportunities for downhill skiing, cross-country skiing, snow shoeing, and sledding in the winter.
