The City of Seattle and the Cascade Bicycle Club organized a cool event for 12,000 bicyclists: They opened both levels of the new SR 99 Tunnel that goes along/under the Seattle waterfront, as well as the Alaskan Way Viaduct above that will be demolished soon. It provided a unique and fun perspective of both old and new, both below and above ground.
