About 25,000 people showed up at Seattle Center for a peace march against the potential impending US-led war against Iraq. It was a good, orderly protest with some great signs: “Who Would Jesus Bomb?”, a dog carrying a placard “I pee on the Bushes”, “Stop Mad Cowboy Disease”, “We Support Our Troops, Not The Mission”, and many many others.

Lots of people marching through the streets of Seattle. While it was mostly a crowd of people in their 20s and 30s, it was gratifying to see a mix of people in their teens and seventies, ruffians and rich folk, punks and yuppies, and all styles of look, dress, and approach.
