On the trail leading from the upper Olympic National Park visitor center to the top of Hurricane Ridge. It’s a good trail for both skiing and snowshoeing, though it gets a little steep in a few spots for regular cross-country skiing.

On our way back, we went off-trail through the woods and then rounded back up to the trail through what would be a picnic area in the summer. We walked right over top of some picnic tables surrounded by snowdrifts, but this exposed table gave a good rest spot to take in the full circle views.
