The Enchanted Forest is a mini Disneyland within a private forest of Turner Oregon, just south of Salem. Fairytales, nursery rhymes, and storybook characters come to life as displays, fun houses, small amusement park rides, theater performances, and activities throughout.
The park begins with a winding path through many colorful scenes hidden within the trees and understory of the forest, all reminiscent of recognizable childhood stories. Then small interactive rides such as slides, bumper boats, and bumper cars beckon all ages. For the braver and slightly bigger, a fun roller coaster and a water log flume ride ratchet up the thrills a bit. The haunted house is a good one, though perhaps a bit too extreme and scary for younger kids. Performances, activities, stores, and places to eat park food are scattered throughout as well.
