The Ex-Nihilo Sculpture Park is a fun roadside attraction that is a labor of love for artist/owner Dan Klennert. We met with him for a while and had a pleasant conversation about his future plans for the 4 acre site. The park is set on a lawn surrounded by woods, populated by welded metal and wood sculptures of choppers, guitar players, cowboys (pictured here), designs, animals, political statements, trains, and more. Definitely worth a stop in Elbe, Washington on your way to Mt. Rainier. While you’re there, don’t let the cat out since their last one got carried away by a falcon.
