Meerkerk Rhododendron Gardens is a 53 acre nature preserve and botanical garden in Greenbank. The concept began in the 1960s as private land partly sculpted by Ann and Max Meerkerk, who later bequeathed the gardens to the Seattle Rhododendron Society and it eventually transformed into the current non-profit volunteer-run organization.

The gardens are a relaxing mix of English-inspired garden paths bounded by nature walks that meander by ponds and through northwest forest. The gardens also offer a self-guided map for exploring, tours, rhodie nursery, picnic grounds, and wedding/event rentals. It is open year-round; Spring is best to see many of the species in full bloom.
